ONLINE GIVING

Q: Is online giving secure?

A: First UMC online giving is powered by PushPay.  PushPay keeps your data is  and private from unwanted access.

Unlike many other mobile payment methods, Pushpay provides a financial and legal safeguard. Pushpay is not only bank grade (PCI) compliant, but also independently tested and reviewed to ensure the highest security standards at all times.

Q: Are there fees associated with online giving?

A: For givers, there are no fees involved with online giving.  First UMC is responsible for the fees associated with online giving.  We pay a processing fee for all credit/debit card (1% -2%) and ACH bank account (1%) transactions that are processed through PushPay.  You can help us manage our fees by using your bank account as the funding source for online giving.  However, both options are available through our online giving portal, and we will gladly accept donations through both methods.

IN PERSON GIVING

If you would like to give using checks or cash, you can do so in person during Sunday morning worship.  Please make checks payable to First UMC.

GIVING THROUGH YOUR FINANCIAL INSTITUTION OR BY EFT

EFT allows consistent amounts to be drawn directly and regularly from your banking account.  This option allows you to give as a regular priority and it also reduces the processing expense for the church.  To get started with EFT, you can complete an online commitment card and select the EFT option. If you are new to EFT, you will be asked to submit a voided check. For additional information please contact Donna Kuper at 605.336.3652
